Volume Pressure
Aggressive pressure
Who's in charge: control, conviction and flow quality.

What it is for
The base reader for who controls aggression: buy versus sell control, flow conviction and its quality — clean or noisy — plus absorption and divergence. It is the context every other reader sits on, which is why it is the one we give away.
Mode
Heuristic
Trades and BBO. The aggression context the other readers build on.
Requirements
- Bookmap with live data
- Futures (ES/MES) or crypto
- miggy-vp.jar
What it measures
- Volume Pressure (−100 · 0 · +100)
- Confidence
- Flow Quality and Noise
- Absorption
- Velocity and Persistence
- Cumulative delta
How to read it
- Control → buyers
- “Clear buyer dominance”: buy aggression is driving recent flow. And the other way round.
- Persistence ↑
- The dominance is holding, not a one-off spike.
- Absorption ↑
- Aggression is being absorbed: the push is not moving price, and the passive side is in control.
- Noise ↑ / Quality ↓
- Noisy flow, so the whole reading becomes less reliable.
What it does NOT mean
“Buyer dominance” does not mean “buy”. It is a state of current flow, not a forecast.
